I am excited about this game. They better start the game strong. I don't want to see our players fatigued, mainly our big man. Yao has been hot the last few games since he was slamed onto the ground. I want him to continue his "mean" streak.

Yeh! I think we are only behind the Lakers and Dallars in games played on ABC.

    Go Rockets!

Minnesota is beatable, they are 26-11, they've already lost to Golden State, Utah twice, and New York.
    New York???? They are beatable.
Besides, Van Gundy recently said that Yao has to learn how to beat the front, looks like he figured it out judging from the Boston game.

Not only national TV but free TV, anybody with a working TV could watch this game. Yao don't want to lose face on this one.

What mean streak???? He's a gentle giant. But I do like the way he raises his right hand slashing into the deep post calling for the ball. Did you notice a couple of slippery eels moves he made against Washington?

I can't remember, does minny even front Yao? I thought they played him straight up with KG coming over to help.

Well as a fan going to the game tommorow, I always hope for a rocket win :D.

We showed some of that Christmas magic against L.A. , which leaves room for a possible victory against Minnesota.

I wouldn't be surprised if we lost though, however, we need to play minnesota competitive, none of this giving in to them because they are the #1 seed crap.

    Rockets : 97

    Minnesota : 91

The good thing about this game is that the Rockets are such overwhelming underdogs that a close game without a win is acceptable at this time.

KG will get his so the ROX have to contain spree and especially Cassell.
Yao hopefully can overcome the help D and get to the line.

    ....ahem

yeah, i was just wondering if you all are talking about the same timberwolves that lost to the mavericks 2 times, the jazz, the supersonics, the nets, the trail blazers, the knicks and the warriors? was that the timberwolves you all were talking about?

No, I think they are talking about the Timberwolves who are 16-3 or so in their last 19 games...

    high percentage predictions

Cato scores under ten points and misses a dunk but makes a 12 footer
Steve gets a technical (for something idiotic)
Yao scores three times as much in one quarter than two other quarters combined
Cat plays good D and scores more than 20 :D
Steve shoots less than 35%, TO Ratio is less than 1.5
Bench scores less than 15 pts

it also become more and more apparent that the ring's power over Jeff Van Gollum is becoming greater as more turnovers are committed...
