lol I travel to Chicago annually. Both the Jamba juice stand and the wall/floor tiles coincide with my recollection of what O'Hare looks like.
This makes my laugh. Why would Minn care where JB wants to go? He does not have a NTC, so he goes where he is sent. Best offer wins.
Yes but in theory, a team that has already secured a handshake deal will risk more assets. So it's relevant.
Riles out here offering Waiters & Whiteside for Butler.....probably What, Thibs...you are not interested in that package?
I feel that all teams are literally trying to lowball Minny but us. Damnit I dont usually do this but what the hell. @cyberx @Codman
Still waiting to see if Morey can sneak in and nab Tyus Jones from Minnesota. He fits into the Rockets 2.5M trade exception.
I think that theory has been debunked with the deals that were made for Paul George, Kyrie Irving and Kawhi Leonard though because that extension money is too big to pass up.
Sure. But Minny should care where he wants to go. Why tell them? Just a chance for Minny to ask for more from Miami.
I think there's a difference between teams risking more and what ends up happening. There are other variables. But it's relevant in this case because Miami is likely to have needed this assurance from Butler to be ok with parting with Richardson, so we know a bit more about what's on the table.
True, but Jimmy Butler doesn't care about what the receiving team loses. He only cares about being the main man on a team of his choice in a big market. If the Miami has to gut the team to get him, he won't mind.
