I know everyone has seen the Chris Webber Beyond the Glory by now. During the show it was mentioned more than once that Webber and Rose always wanted to play together(and did). If Houston traded for Rose do you think that would lock up Webb or do they have no desire to play together anymore? Im not big on Rose but Indiana is and he probably isnt going anywhere but if it could bring in Webber its worth a try. Rose got a big contract, Im not sure for how much or if its one of those impossible base year types but maybe the resinging and trading of both Anderson and Taylor (possibly picks) to Indiana for Rose is a possibility. Rose can defend, shoot, run, and dribble. Rose can start at the 3 and play some point negating the need for Norris. I could see why Indiana would do it, they had a horrible year and are about to be out of the playoffs. They need a change, Rose for 2 quality players seems like a good exchange although we get a star for 2 above average players. Its an odd scenario I know but I do like the potential there.

Jalen Rose is one of the keys to Indiana's future. To get him, we would probably have to give up Mobley or Francis. That won't happen.

I would give up Mobley for Rose in a New York minute. Jalen is a complete player and if it increases the chances of snagging C-Webb, that's icing on the cake.

Not that Indiana would ever do this, though.. their management isn't that dumb.

    C - Hakeem, heck, anyone
    PF - Webber
    SF - Rose
    SG - Mobley
    PG - Francis

I would KILL for this starting five. Too bad it's not even realistic in a parallel universe. Anyone still interested in Croshere? I wouldn't mind acquiring him if it didn't cost too much. Heck if we got a center in the draft (any center), I'd really be up for a Cato/Croshere swap. Indiana might be willing to do it, because they'd go down a few million because of Croshere's BYC status. (Cato's BYC wouldn't affect us as long as we were under the cap) They'd use Cato (being a center) more than they use Croshere.

If the Pacers didn't have O'neal, then they might have done a Cato for Croshere, but since they do, I see no chance of the Rockets acquiring him.

Not that I would even want Croshere on this team anyways....
