Other than Rockets, which team do u like?? And....

    I also like Spurs when I first saw DRob. He was a classy player with skills and atheleticism. Last year, it was thrilled to see them beating the bigs one by one (though with some luck) and won the championship.

    Spurs also have streaky PG like Parker and Gino. Their offensive game sometimes is also a bricking game.

    Sometimes when I read this board, I was wondering whether the fans are magnifying everything. In a good game, we can still pick up SF, Yao or Cat's TO. Sometimes, it looks like some fans are so optimistic that we can beat everyone. When I look at Spurs, I did not have those kind of "higher" expectation. Some of Tony Parker plays and TO will be discussed over and over if he were a Rocket.

    So, do you also hold a higher expectation of another team that you like?

    Before this thread is moved...

    I also like Hornets, which makes me a HOF (Hornets-Only-Fan, in case you are wondering). I don't have a higher expectation on them, they suck, but I have been living in New Orelans and Saints sucks even bigger time.

    A team with completely different style with Rox - Sacramento Kings. I like their passing game and I wish Rox can adopt this style of play soon. ;)

    I also like the... um.... jazzs
    and timberwolves because of KG
    I also like the kings and the grizzles, both are very good team oriented teams.

    No true Rockets fan should ever like the Spurs.

    I used to like the Sonics, but they bore me now. They lost all their personality when they traded Gary. They're a cold, emotionless team (except for Lewis- he's cool).

    I'm kind of partial to any team Payton is on. It's a piss off that Malone joined the Lakers, but I've got to root for Gary to get a ring.

    I root for the Mavericks to lose because they're rivals, but I like all the players on that team because of their politics.

    No true Rockets fan should ever like the Sonics either :D Rockets probably would of made many more runs towards the finals in the early 90's if it wasn't for the Sonics. Even now when they're not as good, they still give the Rockets fits.

    I like Indiana and Sacto.
    I like a lot of Indiana players, Jermaine, Harrington, Artest and Tinsley. And Sacto are just playing beautiful basketball, I enjoy watching their games.

    My favorite team other than the Rockets were the Miami Heat. I am a big Mourning fan so I became a Heat fan when he went there. They got close but just couldn't seem to be beat those Knicks. Peace.

    me too.

    i've always like garnett and wish that more people in the league showed as much passion in the game as he does.

    other reason is cassell. will never forget the time he chest-bumped a player from the opposing team after making a basket for the rox. just a weird looking, unorthodoxed (sp?), and effective player that's FINALLY getting the respect that he's been more than deserving of.

    Ginobli is so overrated. I can't believe how many people like him. Duncan is a great player, but I just don't like his style. I really don't like the Spurs.

    I was a huge bulls fan when I was a teen and the first game I ever saw was when they beat Portland in the finals one year. So I guess I still like the bulls even though they're not good.

    me I like watching the Kings and Spurs. Funny how fundamentals actually make a game worth watching.

    I like the Celtics, though they're a distant second to the Rox. I'm also a big T-Wolves fan because KG is easily my favorite player. Doesn't hurt that he's on my fantasy team, either. ;)

    Ray Allen is another fav, but I just can't support the Sonics. I'm a big fan of Michael Redd and I loved watching T.J. Ford play in high school, but the Bucks are just disgusting.

    Strangely, I've always had a special place in my heart for the Clippers. Can't say why, though. It's like supporting the Special Olympics: they're cute in an "Aw, look at them try!" sorta way.

    I'm going to hell.

    I like the way Denver is being managed. I just think it's refreshing to watch a team that's stunk for so many years to finally start making a run as a contender for a playoff spot. But I'll damned if I ever root for them and find that they took one of the Rockets spots. They can go to hell for that. As far the Eastern Conference goes, I like the Pacers. They play similar to the Rockets in the sense that defense comes first, and play inside out with J. O'Neal. They don't have any thugs that I can remember either. Artest may be a headcase, but atleast he leaves it on the court.
