Seems like OP is shocked that the poll results didn't end up panning out to his bias. Clint is a huge weapon, Paul is a cornerstone.

A hall of fame point guard has so much more impact than an all-star forward in today's game. That doesn't take anything away from Clint, but you decided to put them head to head.

Clint is easily #3 and let's hope we don't lose either of them.

    He’s just a contrarian.

Just messaged me “congrats on being a sheep,” lol.

Some people can’t handle when they’re wrong, and create defense mechanisms for it. Bballholic and this guy are good examples.

You think because you are part of a strong majority it gives you the right to be an arrogant jerk. I don't appreciate it.

I already stated the record without Capela last year but I don't need stats to have an intelligent opinion. I watch every game and I honestly believe Capela is more important than CP3.

Let's not try to shut down other people just because they have an unpopular opinion, not a good look.

Let's revisit this thread after the season because right now it is just pathetic.

You know things are good when it spills over to private messages. That's only happened to me twice in the history of Clutchfans. A special milestone.

Some classic group-think bullies in here. If you disagree with my opinion that's fine but why all the personal insults? We are better than this.

Minority views aren't always wrong. But if you are holding a minority view, get ready to be piled on. That comes with the territory. As the saying goes, if you can't take the heat, don't go into the kitchen.

Just repeating your assertion won't help your cause.

I voted other because I think Harden is ironically number two. My reason is defense - we don't push the warriors last year without our defense. CP3 is a HUGE part of that and that's why he's my number one

Harden is the best and most talented player on this team but still got targeted on defensive switches. Think about it, if we lost because of missed shots, and if offense was enough, JH would have been able to overcome it.

You’re missing the point big guy.

    1) I’m an arrogant jerk because my view is supported by the majority of the evidence. How many people say one thing or the other is completely inconsequential.

    2) I also watch every game, and I honestly believe that thinking Capela is more important than CP3 is 100% r****ded.

    3) I’m not shutting you down because you’re unpopular, I’m shutting you down because you’re empirically wrong. The evidence of what has happened does not support your stance.

If you can provide evidence for your point, then I will be the second person supporting you.

    4) Albert Einstein would never, ever, accept a view without devising a way to measure it or prove it. He certainly would never accept something just because someone said it was true.

    5) posting about something with no proof is a bad look, now and after the season. Let’s come back whenever. The outcome won’t change the process.

Harden versus Paul is an interesting discussion and I could be persuaded either way. CP3 is better at running a team and handling mental adversity and Harden is better at handling a load and physical adversity. You need both of them throughout a season.

That's what happens when somebody starts a ridiculous thread in an apparently serious manner.
