When the Rockets win 70 games, I don't want to hear s##t about how Harden has too much help, so he can't win back to back mvps. The media better keep this same energy.

That last part is idiotic. Whether or not Luc will be a big loss has nothing to do with whether he gets healthy somewhere else. Morey knows about his health and was willing to take the risk. The only thing that makes it a big loss is if the guys we're bringing in to replace him don't get the job done.

And this is just going TOO far with the Melo-bashing. Now he's an end-of-the-roster guy? SERIOUSLY?!?

Another offseason of super duper analysts trashing the Rockets that will end up in "Rockets not winning the championship would be a major disappointment".

If you reverse the D - it is a B.

It won't happen, because this year they are. Unless Paul gets healthy, we only have one player who could crack the starting rotation of bottom-of-the-playoff-picture teams like Minnesota, Utah, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Indiana

well, I'm too depressed to continue

So, he's saying the new additions are bad because they won't play "deep in the playoffs," but losing Ryno is bad because "he could have done more in the regular season to help get home court advantage"?

Is it too much to ask for internal consistency within the same paragraph?

The only starter we lost from last season was Ariza. I’m not sure that’s the difference in the 17 games we finished ahead of them last year. But ok. Congrats on being the first.

What these national idiots don't realize is that Morey couldn't ask his boss to overspend on Ariza (who is wildly up and down) when he's got a $20 million hole (Anderson) on the roster already. Ennis can play Ariza's role and is younger. Anderson ( who's confidence was shot) is now gone and replaced with two younger players (Knight & Chriss) with movable contracts who can either play or be traded for value.

Carmelo is better than Anderson and if he raises hell about his role can just be released. Mbah Moute (injured & mentally shot) played 55mins in the WCF last year and his minutes were going to GG anyways & GG is back. Morey also has three youngsters Edwards, Gary Clark Jr, & Cabloco ( as wing prospects) to see if they can contribute. If they can't you can easily move on. If one of these three guys surprise, it'll be a huge bonus for this squad.

The Rox have their 1st round pick which is always NBA currency in case something becomes available via trade. Additionally, they possess a great deal of their mid level exemption for the buyout market ( in case a valuable vet is available). Lastly, they have their four best players back which include a recent sixth MOTY (Gordon), a Hall of Fame point guard (Paul), a young current top 10 NBA center ( Capela), and a reigning NBA scoring champ who was the NBA's MVP last year ( Harden).

So all of these gloom and doom prognostications are just regurgitated garbage that's being passed from article to article and from one talking head to the next empty talking head.

Are you aware that we signed James Ennis and not Tyler Ennis?

Don't worry though, the level of analysis you've provided more than qualifies you to be a sports analyst.

Author of the Article gave us an A+ for 2017-18 season so I have no reason to think that he is being biased. Disagree with his rating but I feel that this was a sincere opinion article.

All of y'all REALLY like our offseason THAT much? Regardless of if Melo can bounce back or not, I have no problem with the D's and C's. Sure we saved money, but Ryno > Chriss & Melton is more valuable than Knight.
