Campaign rallies are like concerts, a chance for voters to see their person.

The whole media narrative of protesters at Trump rallies during the campaign was ridiculous. If you show up at a rally to protest expect confrontation

 

Expect disagreement. But it is ridiculous to have to expect people to be violent against you.

 

Effective brainwashing sessions

 

When the head cheerleader call for voilent at his rallies, where his his most loyal supporters attend, it’s almost expected that you will have more than disagreement.
