    Wow, very sad day, hugeeeeee loss for Hip Hop.

    Edit: Lol at "soundcloud" rapper, Mac Miller was putting out fire before Soundcloud was relevant. KIDS is a top 10 Hip Hop album of the last decade.

    Edit: checked youtube and he does have millions of hits. "Soundcloud rapper" threw me off tho.

    He just broke up with Ariana Grande and now she is getting married to a similar looking dude with similar substance abuse problems. I wonder if that has anything to do with this.

    His last album was pretty good.

    Yeah Mac Miller is about as famous as any rapper could get to the majority of 90’s kids, sound cloud rapper wouldn’t be my description.

    Sad, he had a great artsistic career.

    Soundcloud rapper? Bro dude was making mixtapes before sound cloud was even invented and he just released his 5th studio album a month ago. Was truly one of my favorites in that whole crew that came up around 2010. Sad day, used to jam his Blue Slide Park album in college all the time.

    Did he pull a Hoffman? Got clean and then went back to his old heroin hit amount he did last time. Then, overdosed.

    I would guess Ariana is pretty upset right now. Otherwise, she would have posted to social media already.

    This guy was a fairly well known rapper. He certainly wasn't a "soundcloud" rapper.

    Seriously look up soundcloud rappers, they look utterly ridiculous, it's amazing.

    Yeah, I'm not "Insulted" by any means. But it's similar if Harden were to die and someone posted a title saying "Drew league hooper James Harden dies".... he may have hooped in the drew league (like Mac has a sound cloud page) but he's certainly known for something much greater than that, he performed to a much a larger audience, high accolades etc.

    Nowadays, "SoundCloud rappers" are often associated with people trying to push out very low-quality rap music (terrible lyrics and/or production) to online audiences that have no interest. It's the modern day equivalent of people handing out their mixtapes to strangers on the corner of the street.

    I have a feeling that the OP wasn't aware of this and didn't mean to insult Mac (R.I.P).
