Hey guys has anyone gotten the laser eye surgery done? If so, who did it and would you recommend them.....Or does anyone know anyone I should go see....Houston or Austin would work....thanks for your help
I just have a friend who just had it done in Houston. Our company covered the costs. (All medical bills are paid for) I could ask him who did it.
wow...the company paid for lasek (sp?) surgery? i didn't know it was even covered by insurance or anything
my mother got it done around a year ago. and she sees perfectly now. she said that the doctor said you should wait at least until 25 to get it done so that your body stops growing. so i have about 2 years and i will get it done also. save time and money from contacts that i dont have.
I had mine done about 4 years ago. I had a few side effects at first, but they diminished over time. I had Dr. Koche at Baylor College of Medicine do mine. My company didn't cover my surgery. It cost me $4,000. It's worth it.
I had mine done by Dr. Charlie Moore at International Eye Care on Wilcrest near I-10 about 4 years ago. All in all I'm happy with it but my night vision is not as good as it was with glasses. It cost me about $3000 back then. I'm not sure what they charge now.
I think Dr. Berkeley at Mann-Berkeley Eye Center in Houston. Went well. 20/20. I do have a very slight starburst effect at night (not even sure if it's really there - maybe everyone sees little halos around streetlights?), but it's not terrible. Definitely glad I did it.
