    Atlanta can trade him to a contender for a draft pick at the deadline. Good deal for both sides. Fair value. Not a bargain. Not overpriced. Fair.

    Even if you're tanking, acquiring players on highly trade-able contracts is smart. They have to hit the salary floor. What if they can also flip Dedmon at the deadline for a late 1st round pick or even a 2nd rounder?
