Could be the Knicks of today. That team would probably be 37-45 in east. Knight Gordon Green Melo Nene/Chriss
Come on now... That team would be dead last or very close to it. There's optimism and then there's just delusion.
That team would suck in the east but if we stick CP3 on there and put melo back on the rockets then we would have two playoff teams in each conference.
that team is straight up ass Ego and Melo as your 1st 2 options? Nene starting at C? Knight as your starting point? They’ll be scouting for who to take with their top 7 pick.
I would put Qi at the 5. Knight would run the team. Melo, EGO & Green could score & hopefully Qi could rebound & score. D might be a problem, but that team would probably make the playoffs.
This is the same conference Lebron "dominated" for so many years. Now ppl wanna admit the east is trash?
That would be a bad team, like really bad. Let's not get crazy. What makes our bench so great is staggering Harden/Paul's minutes, as having one of them out there makes MDA's system what it is, and allows players to "overperform" in it. I'm not trying to hate on Knight, but giving him the keys to MDA's offense is pretty damn far from ideal. I do think Gordon could be a borderline All-Star if he was on a bad Eastern squad (and stayed healthy), like a 23/4/4 type player on good efficiency (which he was early on in his career in LAC pre-injury).
I think 37-45 is about right. Last year that would been good for about the 10th or 11th spot in the east last year.
