We still have another 3-5 years of this level of prime Harden. Even after that barring injuries he should still be a quality player as his game is not overly dependent on athleticism.

I would say 3 years. Even tho his game is not dependent on athleticism, his endurance won't be the same and his defense will be much worse.

James is already the second greatest player in the Rockets history. Let's hope that he gives us another six magnificent years.

D-Wade started his obvious decline around the age 32/33. That gives us 3 to 4 more years of prime/very good Harden. Crazy to think about..

    Com-PLETLEY different games.

One relied on athleticism the other on craftiness.

If it were Westbrook you were comparing to Wade, now that would make sense. Harden is more of a Ginobili... who just retired after his 16th season. Huge difference.

Cool... Ginobli's obvious drop-off happened between the age 33/34. So... One more year. Harden's game will age similarly because of his outside shot and such, so he may have a longer career like Manu, but it's dumb to compare their games/careers anymore. Ginobli never averaged more than 17.4 ppg and barely averaged 30 minutes per game. He was never THE go to guy, and at his peak he averaged almost half as many points as Harden did this past season. I didn't say Harden won't be able to play anymore, I said he won't be prime passed that age. Harden is my favorite player, but he won't be able to blow by people at will in 4 years from now. I firmly stand by what I said.

He's never been a blow by person.

You still have his game confused dude. It's actually the OPPOSITE, his stop on the dime ability is what gives him the ability to change directions or stutter step back for a 2 pointer. Not his lighting quick first step.

Again, his game will age wonderfully. Not that their games are exactly similar but a far better comparison to Manu than Wade to Harden. Had to correct you there twice now, firmly stand by or not.

Okay, we can agree to disagree on the subtle player comparisons (Harden is his own brand of player)... In my first post, I said Harden will only be in his prime for another 3-4 years (I respectfully extended it by a year to match Manu's decline), and you're disagreeing, and saying that Harden will still be in his prime passed 5 years?... I pray that you're right man! Also, I love your Avatar photo.

I can see him playing at a prime player for as long as his body holds up.

In my eyes I can see him becoming the Uncle Jimmy to Kyrie's Uncle Drew, minus the makeup and fake grey beard!

    Thanks T2. HAHA
