Good News! The Stros after tomorrow are going to play 2 straight weeks without a day off, Crazy ****!
Yeah...prior to today he had given up 7 runs in his last 30 innings. So you are correct. He regressed in the 6th inning today.
Morton has pitched 6+ innings 17 times (in 25 games). In those 17 games he has given up more than 3 runs ZERO times. In those 17 games he has given up more than 2 runs THREE times. So, yeah....he can't handle more than 5 innings.
Fatigue? All our starters have been giving up runs lately. Their historic start (lowest ERA) was not sustainable. That's why the bats need to wake up.
You are very reactionary and that causes you to lose sight of reality. I was going to block you but your posts help to keep me entertained. Keep up the good work..,.
And...TWO pitchers in all of the American League have more quality starts than Morton (Bauer and Verlander). You know...that crazy stat where a pitcher has to throw at least 6 innings and give up 3 or less runs. So, yeah....he can't handle more than 5 innings.
He has. I still think his stuff is nasty. He hasnt missed a start so you know his arm is probably tired. I think he needs to be skipped in the rotation. Maybe a couple of times before the season ends. And maybe a pitch count. Like 75
