Who is after him? Slade? If neither Henderson nor Rankin are getting them done, I could see them moving Kelemente to RT and starting Mancz. Sort of how they moved Allen last year.
Agree, the rookie has missed too much time and the line is starting to jell. Let the rookie get his feet wet in the two preseason games and compete with the other tackles for a back-up position. We have 2 of 3 3rd round picks actually contributing and looking good--let's not push it.
I'm given him credit for already having all of that and some. You would've seen that if you actually watched his college games.
I DID watch his college games, and that's where the criticism came from. He was still demonstrating several of those flaws in preseason last year.....they really were a thing. Just because he worked hard to limit and then seemingly eliminate them altogether doesn't mean that they were never there. Anyway, this is counter productive, feel free to attempt to re-write history if you want, it's irrelevant now. What matters is that he's seemingly fixed those flaws for good and that the Texans are in a good position moving forward.
I'm not rewriting anything, just don't believe you actually watched his games let along took notes on his performances each game. It was up until the media put their negative spin is when you came out the woodshed.
Oh, you've made that baseless opinion quite clear, but I watched every throw he made in college before he ever threw a pass for the Texans.....and that's why I didn't like it when I saw him making some of the same mistakes in preseason last year. So yeah, no only did I watch literally every throw he had in college, my concerns were proven valid in the preseason.....so your spin about the concerns about his passing game being all a giant media conspiracy is factually inaccurate and was proven wrong. Again, you know better than this, so I'm not sure why you keep pushing for this nonsense. This is an old and finished argument. The concerns about Watson's passing game were confirmed and then he worked to overcome them. If he never had the concerns about his passing game as you so desperately want to sell people on, he wouldn't have looked like ass throwing the ball in the preseason last year.....and he did. What we saw last year is continual progression in his game, he got better every single week which was amazing to see.
Texans fan. When it was clear that the Texans would draft a QB, I took a deep dive into all of the main candidates. By those who watched and knew what they were seeing when they watched. In fact, there was evidence of those flaws in every single game he played, they just became increasingly rare every week as he improved every week. Again though, let's move on, Watson is now playing like the guy you somehow thought he was all along and that's all that should matter right?
