I looked for another post on this and couldn't find one - so I will ask: Did anyone else hear Calvin say "f*&kin'" when he was talking about his one-on-one game Yao during the 3rd quarter - they were jibba jabbain' about Calvin washin' Yao's car because Yao beat him in a one-on-one game, and Mr. Murphy says something like "see Bill, the f*&^kin' game - the score..." then he gets tongue-tied and Bill starts doing the talking while you can hear Calvin laughing. I TIVO-ed it and played it for the misses and she heard the same thing. Just wanted to know if anyone else caught that. Maybe he had a few too many totties before the game
its possible. very possible. channel 51 doesnt have a delay to edit i dont think. iv heard players yell out "F***" and "oh s***" clearly many times.
I thought I heard it too, except I was at work and in between things. I figured I heard him wrong. I guess I wasnt the only one.
If I had my way, Calvin would drop many more F-bombs every time someone does something incredibly obviously moronic. I'd love it if they could say exactly what they wanted, and not have to be mouthpieces forthe Rockets organization. I see more critisism nowadays but I'd still like them to just let loose and tell us what they really think. You're lucky there's not an audio feed from MY living room. "Earmuffs!"
bill - "they're building for the future" calvin - "yeah, we'll be flying around in spaceships by then" loved that comment from calvin. think i missed the F word switching back and forth to the UT game b/c i did hear bill saying murph still had to wash a car right when i got back.
Hell, Steve says "OH SH*T!" almost every time he misses a free throw. I used to love it when crowds at the Summit would start chanting "BULLSH*T!" after a really bad call...
That was actually set up by Worrell's comment saying they are building for the future, "but they've been building for the future for 26 years." Ouch!
Yup. That would be an excellent idea with so many kids watching on television. It would be a hit with the parents. Not to mention how mature it makes Calvin Murhpy sound. Doing it once by mistake is funny, but doing it again and again for shock value is just moronic.
yes, he did say that....100% that was not the first time either...those 2 are nuts..... you can clearly see that Calvin and bill are frustrated with this team...as is Gene....he is beginning to have this tone with rox...
I heard a story this morning saying that the FCC is now completely banning the F word because of overuse now...
I taped the game and play it over and over. He is guilty as hell, that Calvin said about the FV(<ing game. It was kind of funny the way he said it!!
