according to Peter (never know if he is just making up his stories) Vescey, the rox will be picking up Mark Jackson and are just waiting for him to get into shape. I'll post more when I know more

I have no source to quote. Saw it on NBA TV

supposedly he created a rift in utah because he wanted to get kirilskldjfa;lkjfako and harpring the ball more than malone. He tried to rally the guys against stockton. Overall, some bad stuff, but if you look at it, he was right. Kirilenko and Harpring are on the way up and are the future of the Jazz. How he went about it was all wrong.

Yeah interesting enough, I was in the doctor's office a few days ago and he had an old SI magazine lying around (april 2003) and I read that article. Said that Jackson quietly went about trying to divide the team and have some players go against stockton. A rift was created on that team that year and Sloan got so pissed at one point, he walked out of practice and threatened to retire. Stockton never talked about it much publicly, but said he was hurt by the situation. Jackson is a punk though cause he never admitted or apologized for it from the sounds of the article. Just went on to say that he's a born leader and that's how he always is and if people take it as manipulation, then too bad for them. All in all, I'd say that Jackson has no class trying to do what he did to Stockton.

Well, Sloan and Co. labeled Amaechi a White/American hater. Said he thought he was smarter than everybody and couldn't stand whites or people from this country in general. He never caused any problems over here (that we know of). Maybe Utah's just screwed up. 18 years with the same 2 players and I know you've got some clique-age going on. I'm sure there were sides of that story that went untold, like Stockton being a major d******d to Jackson all season long or something.

Anyway, if this guy had a plot going against John Stockton, I already like him. If he's in shape, he is one of the best pure point guards to ever play the game and that's what so many of us want here, right?

Actually, if Jackson wants to try to pull the same thing here with Francis, then I'm all for bringing him here.:D

Well Bill and Calvin just confirmed JVG was keeping that 12th roster open for someone who he was going to be bring in; someone he's very familiar with they said.

My first thought was Oakley but then realized we have enough big men,so then I thought it had to be Marc Jackson.

Mark Jackson would be a huge addition to this team. We bring in a veteran PG that could provide SF with some quality rest time and maybe see some Francis at the 2.

The addition of Marc Jackson sounds like a good one to me.

Provides a veteran pg with leadership skills to run the offense while steve takes a rest, wilkes will go back to the role he belongs in which is 3rd string pg and the rest will be history.

I still hope it turns out being Oakley. This team lacks color and fire, and Oakley would bring that - even without minutes on the court.

I will prefer Stockton than Jackson. Stockton was the best pure PG in NBA
