www.johntitor.com I just recently came upon this site. Though it may sound absurd at first, the more I read about it, the more disturbing it becomes. John Titor, a time traveler from the year 2036, began posting on a message board in late 2000. He gave a series of predictions and warnings, including a U.S. civil war beginning in 2004 and a nuclear strike by Russia against the US, China, and Europe in 2015. Three billion people killed. After telling his tale, John Titor departed back to 2036 in March of 2001 and was never heard from again. Anybody read about the John Titor story?
Sorry -- I haven't seen it before, and I think it's pretty funny. In particular, you must follow the photo links. I can't seem to post them here. Concerning the coming civil war: There is a civil war in the United States that starts in 2005. That conflict flares up and down for 10 years. In 2015, Russia launches a nuclear strike against the major cities in the United States (which is the "other side" of the civil war from my perspective), China and Europe. The United States counter attacks. The US cities are destroyed along with the AFE (American Federal Empire)...thus we (in the country) won. The European Union and China were also destroyed. Russia is now our largest trading partner and the Capitol of the US was moved to Omaha Nebraska. Omaha! Oh yeah, baby. Farming uber alles!
The guy who perpetrated the hoax later came forward and admitted he made it all up. It is nice as a piece of science fiction though.
Those are priceless...is it just me or does the interior of his "Time Machine" resemble that of a 1977 Chevy Impala? EDIT: Holy crap! I was almost right:
It's a corvette, in two of the photos, but he later claimed to have traded it for a truck! I kid you not. The "time machine" is just that big box with the yellow "warning" tape on it. Hard to beat. As a hoax goes, this guy's physics was really pretty interesting. Check out some more photos at the bottom of this site. I'm especially fond of the one where the time machine redirects laser pointer light (as exhibited by cigar smoke), all in the front seat of a Corvette. Yeah baby!
Oh really, you got a link for that? I was reading some JT message boards earlier and didn't see anything about the guy confessing.
I don't have a link. I read it somewhere about a year or so ago when this was a little less yesterday's news.
(18) Computer technology and software get MUCH better. with insight like this, how can you not believe this guy is for real?
