Kind of like we do with Curry, right?

Warriors better sit his ass on the bench, he's a liability.

You are right. I forgot to consider the chances that CP3 would be injured.

    Clint 45 minutes
    PJ 44 minutes
    Harden 48 minutes
    Gordon 45 minutes
    Melton 40 minutes
Ennis off the bench for 18 minutes.

If CF can love Josh Smith because of one elimination game, I'm thinking Melo can earn some cred here.

Warriors sweep us if he is lol..

They will mercilessly attack him on defense all game.

Jazz made Melo look like a lamp post on defense. He was so bad that Thunder had to bench him and he was begging for OKC to put him back.

Now imagine that Melo defense against a playoffs Durant and Curry. No wonder Morey is saving the trade exception. We will need it for a while lotta lube.

Lol @ ppl comparing him to Curry.

Curry is nowhere as bad a defender as Melo but more importantly, he more than offsets whatever defensive liabilities he has with his offense (ability to create for himself and his teammates).

This place really is full of delusional folks.

Yeah, this. Also, no way to know until we see how it works out, him playing with Harden and Paul and the rest of our guys under D'Antoni.

It's the right question but there's no way to answer it yet.

So you think Curry is underrated as a defender as well...

That would be absolutely amazing. Imagine Harden isolating Melo. All you can eat BBQ chicken!

That move by itself would weaken them a lot more than anything we do to strengthen ourself.

Anderson’s defense is far more putrid than Melo’s. Ry-no skills singlehandedly cost us a game with his abhorrent defense and complete lack of athleticism. How soon some of you forget?!

we can all agree that melo will be no worse on D than gerald green, ryno, nene, and a one-armed-luc were in the WCF... and he'd be a lot better on O.

FWIW here are the combined minutes from green/nene/ryno/luc in each of the 7 games:

    Game 1: 43
    Game 2: 26
    Game 3: 48
    Game 4: 11
    Game 5: 16
    Game 6: 28
    Game 7: 34

i can find 24-28mpg for melo each game. even in games 4 and 5 he could play 24-28mpg since playing paul and ariza over 40mpg contributed to the worn down hammy and having no legs to shoot threes respectively.

melo would be our 7th man replacing the combination of green, nene, ryno, and an injured luc. we still have to replace ariza... and that's what morey is trying to do by shopping a package of ryno/FRP/melton.

We do not all agree on that, not even close. All of that is TBD.

Can we block anymore mother f****** Melo threads till he actually signs with us or anyone else? F***, this s**t is getting so dumb. Can't wait till someone starts a thread wondering the last time he took a dump.
