You should change your screen name if you believe any of that . This isn't a stanning moment either because if you pick any of the first three-peat Bulls they wouldn't roll 94 or 95 Houston over. OT would have held Horace Grant in check and while Jordan is surely going to drop 30+ a night, it wouldn't have been a cakewalk against MadMax. Maxwell would have chipped in his 16-18 points as well. Pippen? Who's he going to guard? Maxwell? Good, have Jordan switch over to Horry and let MJ waste his energy guarding a bigger/taller player. Pippen guarding Horry? Horry would have been ready for that matchup on the defensive side too. They got role players? So do we-Carl Herrera, Matt Bullard, Sam Cassell and Mario Elie.

This isn't even looking at the most dominant player during that two year stretch either. Hakeem would absolutely annihilate anyone Chicago throws at him. This guy went to war against Shaq, the Admiral, Patrick Ewing, etc and came away a winner. Bill Cartwright, Luc Longley, Will Perdue? Please. Rockets in 6

Phil Jackson wrote in his own book that there was no way they would've won in any of those 2 years because the team didn't have it in them to do it again whereas the Rockets were the hungriest team in the league.

Well said, and true. It doesn't help that the league, the media, and the shoe industry, of course, were intent on making Jordan a "god." Those who didn't see the teams actually play each other are influenced by that largely successful effort. Houston? We weren't New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles. We were "down there in Texas," which might as well have been the Moon.

We didn't fit the "narrative." We don't today. Today's media darlings are Oakland and now Los Angeles, something the nation's media have yearned for since that team cratered. Today they think that LeBron is returning LA to prominence. They have the name, let's see if they have the game.

Do you realize the Rockets faced the Bulls before we even got Sam Cassell? Who was a significant factor on our team.
Let's not forget Horrry turned into a historically clutch player

See for yourself what this matchup looks like, it's not like we never played them.

Also these were intense games, these were the 90s, our rappers don't autotune

I understand we dominated them during the regular season. But I don't think it would be the same during the finals

    oh I forgot
the Rockets are a worst team in the finals

it's like picked Hakeem in your name and NEVER KNEW A THING ABOUT HIM

It's like saying you are a Michael Jackson and didn't know what Thriller was

I'll pay for you nick name change if you can't believe Hakeem Olajuwon dominated the NBA and won 2 Finals MVP.

We have people here with "Hakeem" in their names and don't believe he can stop Scott Williams or Bill Cartwright in the Finals.

I would have to say Nike, the NBA, NBC did an amazing job that North Korean dictators couldn't do.

Are we doing witch hunts here? There's one user who claims to be a diehard Houston fan but still calls them asterisk championships.

Greatest mass brainwashing accomplishments in the history of mankind.

    3. Spain thinking Columbus would fall off the earth sailing cause they thought the world was flat
    2. North Koreans believing the Kim family are gods
    1. NBA fans believing Jordan never played in 1995

As much as despise the arrogance of Phil Jax, there's alot of things that he is right about. This is one of those things. The fatigue factor was setting in with MJ on the Bulls. They barely beat the Knicks in previous seasons The Knicks had a physical, in your face defense with that rugged style of play that Detroit was big on. But, the Knicks were too offensively-challenged to beat any team with fairly good to great offense. You can rough team up, but you still have to out score them. Though, it would've worn Chicago out to play a team like Houston that had a dominant big, with great shooters everywhere with athletic players on the wing who could also defend.

That Bulls had absolutely no one to guard Olajuwon, unless they decided to commit Horace Grant to him, which would've been a good Thorpe. The Knicks were able to neutralize everyone on the Rockets, except Olajuwon and Cassell in a few of the games. But, Houston was able to pull it out.

I I know MJ is arguably an untouchable GOAT, but the Bulls as a team were very beatable for a team that had dominant big or deep roster of full-weapons.

    Clutch city was beautiful basketball

Too bad not everyone doesn’t have faith in the
Only teams that won a championship

The only option Chicago might have tried to stop Dream would be to put Pippen on himbc Pip was a damn good defender. That being said, he would still have gotten destroyed by Dream and basically handicaps the perimeter defense for Chicago, allowing Kenny MadMax or whoeverto drain threes

I bet the people on the Lakers forum who called themselves KobeTheGreat actually believe Kobe was great
It's sad that Clutchfans has no faith in the greatest player that ever played for the Rockets

My dad used to speak highly of Horry, he always swore he was a taller version of Pippen who could hit 3s, which Horry could in those days. I don't think Horry worked on his game, like that to develop into that type of player.

I think Robert Horry was pretty happy he turned out to be Robert Horry instead of Pippen.

A legend for 3 teams. Never lost a first round playoff series in his entire career.

In '95 we did our part. Bulls failed to make it happen.

So very much fail in that post, I don't know where to begin. So I'll just focus on showing the idiocy of that last line by flipping it:

They were too reliant on Jordan which would eventually hurt them.

WTF? When you have one of the 10 greatest players to ever suit up, you rely on him. That's the way it works!
