Lance Berkman. He's really a first baseman playing out of position.

We'll do it old school. You can throw the ball at the runner and get him out that way. Clemens will enjoy this immensely.

Ahem, punctuation goes at the end of a sentence.

If it was long term, I would think they might move Kent there and bring up Burke or that kid who played a few games there last season (his name escapes me) to play 2nd. I don't think Berkman is playing 1st anymore.

As someone else mentioned, I'm sure they would put Lance at first and play Lane in left field.

AAA callup. Lance would need to put the fielding reps in at first before they would move him there, so he would be a more of long term solution at first (depending on how long Bagwell is hurt).

Nope. Nobody in the pipeline to play 1st regularly. Either Lane or Berkman will get reps at first in Spring Training as insurance.

Or we could always bring back Fatty Ward.

So when Bags retires, we move Berkman to first and Lane to the outfield?

Come again is in right field...

You can blame topfive for your confusion. After I said "yes", he was supposed to say, "what?", then I would have said, "No, what is on second", to which he would have replied, "I didn't ask who's on second!", then I would have said, "who's on first!"

    Come on Chris, step up!
