I can’t believe it’s gaining steam it’s going to take 3-4 solid prospects and I’d say Straw, Alvarez, Armenteros, give them a team controlled closer (Giles & they flip Herrera) and maybe a Bukauskas type.

    Video Game lineup
    CF Springer
    3B Bregman
    2B Altuve
    LF Harper/Kemp or Tucker
    SS Correa
    1B Yuli/Marwin
    DH Gattis
    C Stassi/McCann/Maldonado
    RF Reddick

Lol Alvarez ain’t going in a deal for ANY rental. Why on earth would Harper get a LOT more than Machado did? A Bukauskas level guy would be as high as the Astros would possibly go, and likely not even him

If I can root for Roger Clemens I can root for almost anybody if they put on an Astros jersey.

Just notice Harper's batting average is like .214. Wow, I thought he was a lot higher.

Yea dude would easily be the worst hitter on our team. We criticized Marwin for batting .225 imagine the **** we say to Harper

joking right? He still has a .364 OBP, likely to hit 35 bombs & plays a very good OF. He’s going to have a big time second half with whatever team he’s playing for. Anyone should be ecstatic if we could somehow add him to this team.

Yeah his average sucks this year, his K rate is up a good bit, but his BABIP is really low also. 30 points below his worst BABIP for a season and 80 points below his career BABIP.

Harper and Herrera for Fisher, Paulino, James, and H Perez would be a fair trade to me.

I think Bukauskas would be a reasonable headliner for such a deal. Doubt it happens but not an inconceivable trade either.

BA would climb significantly slotted in the Astros lineup.

Unfortunately the baseball postseason doesn't work that way. We could add him and Trout and not even have 50% odds, much less be a lock for anything.

Yup. It’s always surprising that people forget how hot and cold baseball runs. You could put the AL all star team in a 7 game series against another playoff team and they’d probably lose that series 2-3 times out of 10.

I would not be shocked to start seeing Harper/Yankees rumors now that Judge is out.

Guessing adding Trout would get odds up to about 35-40%. A lot of synergy potential with him and Astros 4-pack.

The Yankees are out of control. First, they get a closer when they have a closer. Now, they have acquired JA Happ.

    Yuck the Fankees!

Not concerned about them getting Happ. He's been a good pitcher but I don't see him as a game changer. Especially since he hasn't exactly been in good form of late.
