But he's a good passer, and he knows when to sneak to the basket for a layup.

We just gonna ignore the fact Lebron played in the 2000s?

The small ball revolution could've came 40 years ago. The evolution of analytics has revolutionized the game into small ball, so if some Morey-esque genius from the 60's had came up with the numbers then, it would have probably started then.

No it wouldn't because the rules were different back then. They didn't even have a 3 point shot. Even in the 90s and 2000s the rules were different.

    Nash (2005)
    Kobe (2008)
    McGrady (2003)
    LeBron (2007)
    Garnett (2004)

That team is unbeatable. Freak athlete and shooters everywhere on the floor. They can switch on anyone 1 through 5.

What's funny is that none of these teams are as good as the Warriors.

This team, right here would destroy the Warriors, they already can't stop LeBron, and you team him up with Kobe, T-Mac, and Nash. The Warriors can't guard any of those guys one-on-one.

So you don't think you could make an analytical platform based on the most efficient 2pt shots with the ruleset back then? Come on man.

Nash (Curry) / Allen (Thompson) / Iguodala (Iguodala) / McGrady (Durant) / Ben Wallace (Draymond)

Off the top of my head, those are my comparisons.

Nash can shoot from anywhere, like Curry. Both had sneaky good athleticism and both were money from the field and from the FT line. Nash has better vision than Curry, but I think Curry can break his defender down better. Ray Allen can both excel in a catch-and-shoot role and a playmaker off the dribble.

Iguodala then (late 00s) was a better Iguodala than now. McGrady is a professional scorer just like Durant, and both are long. McGrady is probably worse on defense than Durant, though.

Ben Wallace is Draymond without the 3. Both undersized, both bulldogs, both tough as nails. I will say this, though; Draymond excels against wings and bigs, but I think Wallace would get killed against today's wings. And there's not really that much post-play "I'm gonna back you down and score over you in the paint" type of player these days, so that takes a lot of Wallace's productivity out.

I would have loved to see Draymond pull his crap against Garnett, or Garnett pull his crap against Draymond. That's already worth the price of admission.

2x B-2-B MVP Nash vs 2x B-2-B MVP Curry. Prime McGrady vs current Durant. Kobe's offense against Klay's defense.

Iguodala trying to contain McGrady only to have LeBron or Kobe get an easy shot bc of Nash's assisting. Oh my lord.

    CP3
    Ray Allen
    KD
    LeBron
    KG

Decade earlier puts that team with KD as a rookie, lebron already an mvp, KG and Ray still prime and CP3 first time all star
