What do you mean? Tucker came off the bench for 50 games for us before Ryno got hurt. We also lost our starting SF in Ariza and are signing a huge question mark in Melo and putting him in the Rockets locker room. That's what I would consider a "shake up."
I was under the impression that even signing him for the MLE wouldn’t secure bird rights. Just that we’d be able to sign him next year for 120% of whatever portion of the MLE we pay him this year. Once he clears waivers I think no team has bird rights any longer. Right?
As an Aggie, I desperately wish House could become what you think he can. But it just isn't the case. House is 25 now, so there's not exactly a lot of "potential" with him. He is what he is, and what he is is a streaky scorer who plays bad defense with poor lateral quickness. There's a reason he hasn't been able to stick with any other teams.
Melo for the min is a gift! Worst case scenario, if he's a disruption, is to send him home and eat the min contract... This is the ultimate low risk / potential high reward scenario! Of course, I thought the same thing when we got Lawson... lol
Before Ryno part got hurt is largely irrelevant. He's in the same position in the rotation now that he was at the end of the season. Tucker will not be removed out of the starting lineup.
This is going to go down as the best free-agent pickup this year regarding to contract and performance.
Call me crazy but I think D'Antoni goes back to starting Ryan Anderson at the PF spot CP3 Harden Tucker Anderson Capela Then you have a pretty competent bench unit coming in with like 3-4 minutes left in the 1st MCW Gordon Ennis Anthony random 5
We needed him last year to shoot.. we missed 27 threes in a row.. and lost only by 9.. What did Ariza get us on defense that game? sometimes a good offense is a good defense.. go 0-12 missing long threes and Curry and Durant splashing 3's in Ariza's Face!
This guy's BODY isn't right. He has been a below average athlete since 2015 and has gotten worse every year. He isn't even good shooter when getting good looks. He's a terrible defender and average-at-best rebounder for his size.
man, you're mental bro. you were also on the hate train on the ariza threads and now you're crying a river rox lost him. there's help for you mental disorder. seriously.
Getting a multi-time All-Star who's still playing at a pretty high level for almost nothing? Yeah, it's the ultimate high-value, low-risk move.
Melo's 3 pt numbers on uncontested 3s and more from last season have been posted here a few times over. This post is false.
I've been saying I felt like the guy wanted to win for a while and here's the proof. Bring on the crow thread.
Morey and DAntoni selling Anderson are looking like those oldmen trying to hit up on the young and thicc chicks. They know they won't succeed but try to holler every damn time
