Man I wanted that slam to go down so bad. It was amazing what DL almost did in the 4th quarter. The fake was sweet, then he drove and launched himself for a near dunk. It was one of the most impressive unsuccessful dunks I think I've ever seen before. After I saw that play, I bought into the hype that he's got skills. I mean you hear that he's got one of the best verticals on the team, but you don't believe it until you see it. I believe it now. I REALLY hope DL gets A LOT more playing time these next few games b/c he showed alot of promise in this game. Anyway back to the dunk, this question is for the people that were actually at the Compaq Center. Was that dunk as sweet in person as it looked on tv?
I wasn't at the game, but I saw the pre-game warmups at a Dallas game earlier in the season. He and Cato were going one-on-one and he ripped by Cato on one play, launched up for a violent, nasty dunk, but it clanged off the rim... he's got some really nice blown dunk ability. ------------------ "So you say you want some intelligent responses?
