    Reports are Melo hasn't even said anything to teams yet and the Hawks trade hasn't even been completed yet so the buy out can't happen anyway.

    Everyone pretty much knows he's a Rocket so the Heat are probably just covering their tracks aka we aint want you anyway.

    It sounds more like the Heat are saying they don’t want to sign him plus pay the luxury tax since they aren’t a contender. They rather not waste that money
