I don't think most of people have a problem with Melo at the minimum or even at the MLE at this point, it's probably more about some people having (super) low trust/expectations on him, and tbh it's understandable, so far Melo has been some sort of bust in his career...now, bust is a big word here, obviously exaggerated, but for the talent he had, outside of one good season in Denver, he never really standout as expected, he forced a trade out of Denver to play in a worse organization, he had problems in New York with teammates and coaches, he passed the chance to play in a great organization like us to stay in a pathetic enviroment like New York just for the money and didn't give a **** about being competitive...i mean, you can see why some people are super low on him, especially now that he's 34.

Personally, i have never been a fan of Melo even if i always recognized his talent (which doesn't say much btw, lot of players have talent but they're losers), but i'm ok with him coming here at this point cause there's no really a risk for the money we're going to sign him, and this is going to be by far the best enviroment where he has ever been, add that the player he's going to sub is someone who was basically not even in the rotation last season and yeah, there's only upside in signing him and see what he got, playing in a good enviroment always help, that's a factor for scrubby players, should work in Melo's favor too, Harden and Paul will make everyone better, Chris is his friend...honestly, the situation for Melo here is perfect, it's his turn now, to show what he got left and if he's really interested in winning, i really think he can have a good impact here, but if he's going to fail, it really means he's done, just like Dwight.

OKC made some impressive moves, considering their starting position.

However, they are still under the spell of Russell Westbrook.

Russ will win you 6-10 games a year, but he'll also lose you about the same amount. Playoffs, too: He'll dumb you right out of a winnable game.

Thunder will be lucky to hit the top 4 in the WC. I see GS/HOU/UTAH/MIN finishing ahead of them.

Noel has a lot more upside than MCW. There's a strong chance that MCW won't get any minutes for us.

They are also better because they are dumping Melo who was a net negative for them on the court last year. They've had as good an offseason as they could have.

We on the other hand have so far gotten worse, even if you think the gap between Ennis and Ariza/Mbah a Moute isn't HUGE. We've lost two good 3/D players and added one with upside.

I still think we are better than them because our stars are better than theirs, but they've gotten better and we haven't.

Now, when we add Melo we at least have the possibility that he'll be a different player here than he has been in a five years and will be a positive for us.

It's hard for me to peg a seed. The West is so wild. I could see Minnesota, OKC, Utah, Portland as viable 3 seeds. If you told me that the Rockets took a step back and won 55 games that wouldn't shock me either.

Hell, it's so jumbled that San Antonio stealing the 3rd seed would surprise me but not knock me over haha.

    Who knows.

Whatever the video is.... meek mill (rapper and hardens close friend commented on it) - this ig Page is not big.

Edit: or that can be another voice. Can’t tell anymore.

Not sure Memphis will ever be healthy, but yes, they should be better this year.

Maybe he will stay with the Hawks to play with his good friend Jeremy Lin?

Yup, that's pretty much what I was getting at.

I was hoping OKC would tumble after their PG/Melo gambit. And they did not. Presti has been brilliant.
