If that was your goal, you need to be nice to @Batman Jones, he and Parsons have been friends since back when Jim was part of Batman's theater group. Only problem with that, @heypartner has been much too visible on this board over the years to pull that off. Besides, I have had many drinks with hp over the years and I can definitely confirm he is NOT the general manager of the Rockets. 100% (yes, I know you were joking)
[Premium Post] For Clutchfans to be useful to Morey, he would need to completely avoid any leaks or sharing any useful information on here. If he uses this board to gauge fan reactions and mood, then he wouldn't want to disrupt the natural flow of the thinking. Secondly, you never know who has access to IT information, and sharing important information on here could somehow/someway be compromised. That could lead to the loss of his job, given the nature of his job. So his leaks and plants should be done the old fashioned way - through subordinates speaking to the media. Morey is a statistician and logic-driven thinker. He is not going to make decisions because they are popular -- he'll make decisions that he thinks are in the best interest of the Rockets based on logic and information. Oftentimes, that may lead to a decision that is not popular, but rather contrarian... and right. For these reasons, I would imagine he uses this BBS for entertainment only. So I would imagine he lurks in the GARM, and may be active in the other forums, and probably avoiding D&D. So I'd look for someone who joined shortly before he interviewed for the job, posts exclusively outside of the GARM, doesn't say many controversial things, and posts infrequently. GOOD DAY
