    Guys,

We are making a pitch on a revolutionary X-box game that uses Guitar chords.

Does anyone have some quality electronic recordings of the 12 major power chords used in Rock songs?

If so, I will trade a free video game from our library for them.

    :)

    Wow,

No one in here plays electric guitar and can record MP3s of the main chords.

    Ugh...

Go find someone with a PowerMac and "Garage Band." Comes with some really nice virtual instruments.

Are the sounds on Garage Band different than the standard midi soundbank? I know the guitars on those things aren't too authentic sounding. If Garage Band had good sounding guitars on it, that would be really excellent. Please let me know.

They are unique. Can't test until the end of the week when
it is released, but the demo sounded incredible.

The quality of these musical instruments equals or surpasses that of professsional stand-alone keyboards that can cost thousands of dollars. You can choose to turn your Mac into an Upright Jazz Bass, a Grand Piano, a Tenor Sax or a Classical Acoustic Guitar. You may not have a Stratocaster in the closet, but now you have one on your Mac.

To help demo the new app, Jobs called rocker John Mayer to the stage. Playing a keyboard linked to a Mac via a USB cable, Mayer used the GarageBand software to produce the sounds of a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, percussion and horns. ''This is the first time I've heard a guitar sound like a guitar on a keyboard,'' Mayer said. ''You can even hear string noise in there, too.''

Go through every Creed song and you'll find three different chords...
