Finalllllyyyyyyyy. Everything is slow about this show. Slow episodes, slow plot, slow season release. With that that said.... can’t wait!
It took me forever to get into this show, but once I hit episode 4 I realized it was just going to be Breaking Bad V2 with crossover characters I was all in.
i love this show! i cant get any of my breaking bad-fan friends to watch though. too bad...not only b/c saul is really good, but also b/c it fills in so much of the backstory for B.B. and the background characters.
Better call saul is awesome. People just need to give it a chance. BB had its slow moments and picked up.
TV gets no better than Breaking Bad. It's up there with Seinfeld and True Detective for me. I didn't watch Better Call Saul the first 2 years or so. Once I started I did not stop. It's amazing in its own way, while still being faithful to Mr. Meth dad.
the main thing im having a hard time with is the age of the characters vs the actors. im guessing jimmy/saul is supposed to be late 30's here and he is being played by someone in his 50's. chuck and mike are both probably mid 50's and being playing by dudes in their 70's. the longer this series goes, the more unbelievable mike will be as a bad-ass enforcer. still enjoy seeing his scenes (the one with the cops in philly is one of the best from ether series, imo), but its already requiring some suspension of belief and ignoring of obvious ages...fight scenes with a 75 year old johnathan banks might not look so good.
I've really enjoyed the previous seasons, looking forward to this. Looks like a lot is going down this go around......
I’ve honestly enjoyed how dialed back the BCS and B.B. crossover has been. Gilligan is a master at creating interest even in the most mundane of settings. Feel like Nacho is gonna get it this season. Man I love this show, no one is really a “bad” guy. Everyone is just kinda bad and good at the same time.
