I remember something about Shrooder being a bad guy but are there any substantiated articles about Dennis the Menace?
It's PR move for Atlanta, people literally have no reason to come to a Hawks game for the next 2-3 years. If they get Melo, they'll get an occasional scoring outburst and name that will put people into seats. The people will come to see Melo.
he won't even be there. he wouldn't even be going there if atl said they were keeping him. he'd just stay in okc
How do people keep missing this part of the story every time a new "OKC talking Melo trade with......" story pops up? Every Melo trade they work on is contingent on the other team letting him get to free agency.
nope. hes not a starting pg for a winning team. certainly not as your feature player. another terrible decision by a team overreacting to a bench player contributing when theyre were better players ahead of them.
didn't watch him last year but he averaged almost 20ppg, 44% shooting, doesn't seem as bad as how the Hawks want to get rid of him. anyways
Because Shroder is still owed 45 million over the next 3 years and he doesn't produce enough anywhere near close to that. He is Atlanta's Ryno.
putting up numbers on a terrible team means very little. someone has to. just another example of empty stats
The Hawks have been trying to trade Schroder for weeks, but haven’t found much of a market for him, according to a person with knowledge of the discussions. Schroder’s poor 3-point shooting and atrocious defense last season hurt his trade value but not as much as his legal troubles and being a jerk, according to people with knowledge of how other teams view Schroder. – via Atlanta Journal-Constitution
