As someone who has been advocating for a soft blowup of the Raptors... I might like this deal. Depends on what else Raptors gave up. Hope they didn't get rid of too many young assets/picks.

That’s irrelevant and you know it.

Toronto is an amazing city but is not a big media market for American basketball, is far away from la where all these guys hang out

They can just swap jerseys while they're there.

I think I would have taken the lakers or 76ers deal. You don't get younger. Derozan makes a lot of money for 2 or 3 years. Worst case raptor clear a lot of salary cap.

They will get OG. He's arguably a top 5 lotto pick. Oozes potential.

The biggest media market LA couldn't attract any star for years. NY can't attract any big stars.

this seems like the best the Spurs could do...Boston didn’t want to include Tatum or Brown, LA didn’t want to include a bunch of its young players, and even Philly passed on including Fultz

Toronto takes a gamble, and if Kawhi leaves, then they can finally blow it up...they weren’t headed anywhere with this Lowry-Derozan squad...I put the chances of Kawhi staying in Toronto at 0.01%

I am wondering if Lakers could sign two max deals next summer when they get rid of Deng's contract.

If not, would Lakers choose Klay or Kawhi?

The Derozan-lowry team could have got to the finals if not for Lerbon. He isn't there anymore.

Kawhi's rep is really in the toilet. One of the most botched jobs by an agent I can remember.
