In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

Ayn Rand was a despicable human being. Don't ever forget that.
May she burn in hell for eternity.

Join her at your peril. She's full of infection.

My drive to succeed is based solely on my desire to show up all those people who were jerks to me in high school.

Seriously though, I want to succeed because it would allow me more access to do the things I enjoy doing and allow me to do them on a larger scale.

A 2001 Ford Escort. It may not be sexy, but it drives pretty well.

Ironically, every time I feel lazy, I think about the Simpson's episode... but towards my son......

We are all programed to do one thing or another, but not to worry because some day we will all make great pets.

good luck with that!!! somehow I doubt anything I'll ever do will "impress" the Creator of the universe. :)

I do feel a motivation to utilize the talents God gave me. And I definitely am motivated to provide for my family...one look at my son sleeping in his bed in the morning before I head out for work is usually enough!

Man...I love sex as much as the next guy...but that doesn't get me out of bed in the morning...actually, it works the other way, frankly!

I have a competitive streak in me, and that keeps me in the game, but what really motivates me to succeed is my family. If I fail, I can't provide for my family, and I won't have that. I get my strength/willpower from my family and my Lord.

Hey Max, this is the exact reason why I voted for you in the tourney. I hadn't read your post at the top of this page, but we obviously see eye to eye on many issues.

coma is right until you get married.

Then it's just to pay bills and support your family and to be happy with your life. So you can live comfortably and afford 1-2 Rocket games per year. :)

As far as I'm concerned, nothing should prevent you from succeeding except yourself.

I don't have any kids, still feel like a 20 something year old kid. What drives me to succeed is to be able to live, have fun, and experience life to the fullest. YOU ONLY GET ONE CHANCE in this world so LIVE RIGHTEOUSLY and PRAY for Mercy.

I'd like to be the creator. I'm strangely driven by that. It's not anout personal progression for me. In fact I'm quite stagnant because I'm driven by the big leap forward. Forget the baby steps. That's for my mom and dad. That's for my friends. That's for a lot of people. But I want everyone to make a lgiant eap forward. I'm all or nothing at all. And you'll be lucky to have me as president here in the U.S. And later on, the world. That's what drives me.
