I find myself becoming less and less interested in present day music, so focusing more on some artists from the past that I've always been meaning to check out. Got this in the mail yesterday. So far, it's divine.
Yeah, been meaning to check them out. I know their debut album is the highwater mark. Is there any reason to listen to anything else from them?
Funny that this band has come up in this thread. I've always thought they were underrated as a band because everyone was so focused on the singer's hair. They actually have some great songs. The guitarist has a definite Andy Summers thing going on (especially the solo in this song).
speaking of 80's bands ive been on a big tears for fears kick all day at work. those guys were so gooooood! sometimes i feel like this might be the single greatest song ever recorded ever. and this is fantastic. great musicians and song!

The vulnerability in Malcolm Mooney's voice (as opposed to the cray charisma in Damo Suzuki's) fits well with this psychedelic proto-punk album.
