The Roxs were very close to finally beating the Warriors last season. The window for contention is very small with CP3 being injury-prone and old. The time to pay over the odds is now. Yes, the roster would have been disgustingly putrid and overpriced three years down the road but, if winning is really all its about, why should you care at all? Cavs fans certainly don't give a single f**** that JR Smith and TT are still getting paid for in the end it was worthed it. Winning cures everything, even future cap hell and irrelevancy. The Roxs sucked for 15 years until they landed Harden and are going to suck for a long time after he's gone again. Morey (and the owner) being set in his money-pinching ways may well mean that this team would have been irrelevant for the better part of 25 years with no titles as a saving grace just because the FO got cold feets at the last hurdle. What a F*****g load of S**t.
