More like a food option for the other teams.

    OPs thought process:
    1. Capela is a center
    2. Capela might leave?
    3. Hartenstein is also a center

He’s not Capela, he can’t do everything Capela does but he is far from not athletic. Moves well for a big guy and a good leaper. Can be a really good back up imo

If we aren't operating under the cap I want to spend. I don't care about the luxury tax and neither do other teams with championship aspirations. If we overpay Ariza for just 1 year, what do I care? To me it's just failure to get better. If you lose Capela at this stage of the offseason you've failed in 2018-2019.

    Or as quick.
    Or as fast.
    Or as skilled.
    Or as smart.
    Or as experienced.

His only advantages over Capela are strength and cost.

I don’t know what you guys are looking at saying he’s not athletic. He moves well, jumps well, shoots well, defends well. He’s just raw, if he can reach his potential he can be a serviceable starter or pretty good back up imo.

True. And that adds to his cost. Those jersey letters add up.

No way am I saying better than Capela, but I’d be fine with him as a backup 4 or stretch 5 that can defend and rebound a bit.

I don't think Hartenstein is a Capela replacement because I don't know if the aerial lob threat is there but I DO like Hartenstein's upside.

I think he could be a serviceable starter in a few years. With that being said, I don't want Clint leaving.

Hartenstein would be an excellent replacement. He is very athletic and strong and is already more skilled than cc. I’m not saying he is better than cc at this point however I do fill he has tremendous upside. They both do honestly

It is very important to encourage Capela to play good basketball. Morey is the best GM. Eventually we will pay him 4 years 80 million.

I can see him as a back up to CC.

His defense is no where near CC. His lateral movement is terrible, he doesn't close out as well either.

    DEFINETLY not
