Good to see that the Andersons will stay financially secure after Ryan's contract expires.

Memphis figures they would slip in their stupid signing when everyone was focused on the Kings signing Zach Levine.

Well if Fat Parsons was living up to his contract...

Speaking of, how the hell do they have money to spend with Gasol, Conley & Parsons?

His definitely not MILF with that big forehead

    Bobby Marks ESPN
Here is the breakdown for Kyle Anderson offer sheet in Memphis: The Grizzlies are using the full midlevel exception ($8.6, $9.0, $9.5 and $9.9 million) on Anderson and will become a hard cap team them this season if San Antonio does not match. Total payroll will increase to $121M with 15 players under contract, $2.7M below the tax and $8.8M under the hard cap. The $9M cap hit for 2019-20 will see Memphis right at the salary cap. The Spurs were already a hard cap team based on the Marco Belinelli contract and now would have $117M in salary if they elect to match. San Antonio still has restricted free agents Davis Bertans and Bryn Forbes unsigned. The hard cap is $129.8M and luxury tax is $123.7M.

This is the first FULL 4yr MLE offer this free agent season.

I don't believe anyone has offered the FULL 3 years "TaxPayer MLE" this offseason so far.

Lots of 1 year deals to stay flexible for 2019.

Man, San Antonio is going to hell very quickly. Losing Parker won't really affect their chances of winning (really just hurts their ego after such a long history of retaining their players), but losing young talent there hurts.

Kawhi will be gone. Anderson gone. Left with an aging Aldridge, geriatric Manu and Pau, and what? Are all of their hopes on Dejounte Murray? Because ouch.

Yeah, if I were the Spurs and you absolutely cannot get anything for Kawhi, I would just trade LMA for picks and cash, and start figuring out how to rebuild.

Honestly, thinking of Pop spending the remaining years of his career in a rebuild is depressing as hell. He should consider retiring now if they can't talk Kawhi into coming back.

I agree, but Pop is slated to coach the men's Olympic team in 2020; I feel like Pop needs basketball exposure until then (so that no love is lost for coaching, not that he would be rusty or anything).

I think maybe Pop stays until then, rebuilding warts and all, and grooms one of his assistant coaches to eventually take the reins.
