Clearing 40-man space, plus no Futures Game, plus Alvarez called up, plus not in lineup tonight...either something's up or Luhnow is one of the greatest trolls ever.

Blanco was signed at age 22, which is ancient for an unrenowned international player. So Ocampo is comparing him to a 5th year Senior college signee.

So with this post and the stuff about Luhnow banner being Death Star ... has he gone to Death Star before other high profile call ups like Kyle tucker?

Gilberto Celestino has homered again for Tri-City. The solo shot is his 3rd of the season.

Myles Straw went 0-3 but still managed to steal a couple of bases. He's now got 47 stolen bases this year.

Apparently Straw played a few innings at SS last night and the Astros are interest in seeing if he can pick up the position? That’s quite an experimenr.

he actually played all nine innings in right field last night

but yes, he did play four innings at SS on Thursday because Jack Mayfield, who started at SS that night, apparently got hurt and they had to shuffle everyone around
