Hey Patrick I think you have been out in this California sun to long. https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/patric...&utm_campaign=gotohnhh&utm_term=&utm_content=
well hes no longer on a team that's relevant. he needs to find some kind of way to stand out on a team that has little going for them
so i'm one of the few here who was happy to see him go. always considered him a low IQ player whose defense was vastly overrated. foul prone, injury prone, severely limited offensively -- a backup at best. gary payton bahhhahahhahahaaa
He's just chatting it up in a paparazzi street interview, tongue-n-cheek calling Clippers the best, hoping the reporter would go away.
Bev also says stuff like that to motivate himself. He has always done it. He has worked very hard to get where he is. I really hope he does well. He has earned everything he has gotten. Most players would have quit after the stuff he went through in college.... and those that didn't would have quit after playing in Russia.
I don't mind his irrational level of confidence. It's not like he's getting paid $24 million per year to sit on the Memphis Grizzlies' bench.
I actually would have loved Bev as a backup here (although having EGo is such a luxury). Imagine being able to throw 48 minutes of him and CP3 on top point guards.
As much as I love P-Bev. He is one of my all time favorite players. He really isn't an elite defender. He DOES have elite hustle & passion. His hustle & passion mostly counters the ability. It makes him a good defender, but no where near an elite defender. For example. Chris Paul is a better defender than P.Bev. I miss the dude though, wish we had him on our team as a backup.. his emotion & affect that has on other members of the team alone may have got us past the Warriors. I think he would have definitely hit some 3's during that game 7 drought
Why would anyone get bent out of shape by this? He's always been Irrational Confidence Guy. That's how he motivates himself, and stays hungry. I will always have love for Bev.
