What are our chances to sign someone big at the Trade Deadline next year?

    Just wondering, teams give up, things don't go as planned and there are some crazy trades at the trade deadline

    Is Morey maybe betting of having a better chance then?

    Who could be a possibility?

    To sign someone big? Probably not very high because even in your post you alluded to a trade... which would be at about 95% as stated by @steddinotayto

    Oh and at the 2 yard line. Can't forget that little nugget.

    We don't have much chance to acquire a big name unless they are on the verge of free agency and saying they will sign here for the minimum.

    Carmelo proved that you can't force a team to trade you in a bad deal to a team of your choosing if you don't have REAL leverage.
