    The NBA has to absolutely go back to the drawing board for the sake of its competitive balance and saving the league.

    This discount heavy ring-chasing nonsense is going to kill the sport.

    All of you saying that Cousins might not even play next season are delusional.

    Yes he had a severe injury, but the Warriors are always looking to improve their team. They wouldn’t have wasted their MLE on a player they knew wouldn’t suit of for them.

    What's the point anymore?

    I wish the Rockets had a good/up and coming rookie/2nd year player.

    I remember finding joy in players like Francis, Mobley and hell - even the late Eddie Griffin (RIP) excited me with his potential when we first got him.

    I knew they weren't going to win a ring or even compete but the youth on the team was sliver lining in what would otherwise have been subpar years ..

    we don't even have that !

    When do they expect him to start playing again? I don't think he'll be ready until well after the season starts. Either way this is a steal for GS. They don't really need him until the playoffs anyway. Couldn't the Lakers have offered him more than this?

    Don't get me wrong. I totally see what Boogie is doing here. 1 year deal with a great team to kick ass and win a title and jack up his asking price for a multi year deal. But even still, 1 year of this garbage is too many.

    A 4-5 team league would represent a *massive* improvement over what exists now. Which is a 1-team league.

    cousins being all there by the start of the season shouldnt be expected. thats not even an issue anyway. theyre completely fine without him. but come playoff time where its the only time that matters for them, he should be more than ready to fill a role player void.

    If I were commissioner I'd just give the rings and trophy to the 2nd place team and tell the Warriors to go F themselves.

    Reminds me of how my brother would play NBA 2k franchise, override trades and put all his favorite players on the team and try to go 82-0.
