Every year people fall in love with OKC moves in offseason. Every end of season they are disappointed and surprised. Rinse, repeat.
I think the entire question comes back to tax & flexibility. Dedmon fills a hole and is probably a good fit in Washington, but that's not enough to justify moving Porter. Moving Porter could save them $100+ million in taxes over the next 2 years, and it could make the Wizards a player in free agency next year (Durant, Thompson, Butler). Plus, even if they strikeout, they could just resign Oubre and Dedmon.
Did Jahlil ever get a QO? Possible disappointing prospect looking for a redemption/opportunity like Noel at the minimum? I'm just grasping since we're not hearing anything on the Rockets. lol
We’re a destination franchise. Everyone wants to play for the number 1 seed in the NBA..... Right?.....please God...
That’s not an idea. Look at what you proposed. If you can’t see why Sacramento shouldn’t involve us, (let alone why Cleveland would do this either), then I don’t know what to tell you.
Maybe by Summer of 2021 Prest will realize that it's been Westbrook all long that has hindered their ability to advance anywhere.
