Oh please spare me the good thing I'm not a gm posts. You're far from anything credible so don't even try it. I'll leave it at that

Nobody wants Melo for his 27.5 million dollar contract this year. Of this I have no doubt. But I don't understand how anybody could be mad at signing Melo for the vet minimum. Worst case he rides the pine like Joe Johnson or gets waived.

I’m just a fan hoping for another title soon! Nothing more, nothing less! But you have to admit, the whole not caring about price is bad business.

Not really. I wouldn't want Dwight Howard here even if it was for minimum. That isn't bad business. That's called being smart and not putting your team at risk

He’s not great anymore but for a vet minimum? Sign me up all day.

He’s still a threat if left wide open. Our offense and playmakers are light years ahead of what okc and Russ do.

Melo would literally have real wide open catch and shoot or one dribble pull up jumpers. He never got that in okc.

I'd take him for the vet minimum. It's not like Joe Johnson cost us a championship instead of just a roster spot. Worst case scenario we just waive him.

Half the defense but double the offense And that’s what CP3/PJ/Capela are for

I’d rather have Melo at the minimum than James anus

I don't think a buyout is as likely now that Paul George resigned. May as well roll with what they have, right? Unless Melo just goes full toxic, which doesn't seem out of the question based on some of his off-season quotes

Sign Lebron, sign Melo when bought out, sign wade to the vet min (and have him only play when harden rests)

    Boom geriatric banana boat

all for melo at the vet min. i'd even take melo for anderson if it means we get rid of ryan a year early.

if he wants to start, fine. but hes the first one to get subbed. we give him ISOs with the second unit to keep him happy.

That's a great thought, but who do we have starting at SF now?

Trading Anderson for Melo, bringing back Luc and then a role player or two at the 3 and the 5 puts us over the top when healthy.

    Capela/Tucker
    Anthony/Tucker/
    Luc/Green
    Harden/Gordon
    Paul/MCW!!!!!!

With PG signing why wouldn’t okc just roll the dice and keep it going. It’s just one year and honestly who else could they get on Melos level of play? Unless Melo is just giving zero ****s I don’t see them waiving him

Also if we had Melo after CP3 went down we’d probably have a ring. Get off y’all a high horse lol

All I see is members roasting Westbrook for making teammates worse and being a selfish player but then talk **** when Melo has a bad season with him. I think he’d be good on this team

    CP3/Harden/Melo/Pj/Capella would be nasty

I think it's a given he'll get bought out, more a matter of when. They played better without him, the Adams tweet or whatever it was, the Melo "you mad" tweet, the fact that they'll pay 100M less in taxes...yeah, no chance they keep him.

And i can see us going after him, whether that's good or bad, i don't know.

    That would be a mistake.
