i'm sure bazemore would be more useful than ryno.. but not to the point where i would sacrifice additional assets for. you trade for bazemore and you're essentially stuck with him. comparing ryno to melo isn't an apples to apples comparison. carmelo is a well-known cancer that most teams don't want a part of. ryno is a good locker room guy who will do what the team asks of him. this is just a dream-scenario hypothetical, but what happens if minnesota's season starts like crap and jimmy butler becomes really unhappy? if you're the twolves.. you'll probably fire thibs and blow everything up to tank. if you're the rockets.. you need someone to match jimmy's salary. obviously not a straight up trade but ryno would be part of the package i would think. holding onto ryno just gives the rockets more options down the road.
