This is Marbury's debut in the Garden. What are the odds that Marbury and Moochie tag team Steve for maybe 35 points and 15 assists? That's the over/under line.

This slow play crap by JVG has for the Rockets is getting old and boring. I'm really starting to hate these 60 and 70 point games. It's great we're #1 in the league in defense, but we are starting to look like the Texans (great defense, horrible offense).

This Francis one-on-one crap is pathetic. He starts talking **** to his opponent and gets burned. Pathetic and humiliating. Couldn't let it go.

Yao looks like he should go crawl into a hole and hide. Doesn't look like he can handle the pounding from opposing forwards and centers. I hope he doesn't turn out to be the next Shawn Bradley.

What can be done to this Rockets team to get things turned around?

    NWO,
The team can get rid of players that gave us the lottery 4 years in a roll and build around yao for his confidence.

Losing to the Pistons at the Palace isn't bad. I still believe in the Rockets. Go, Rockets!

Yeah, the Rockets really suck for losing to Detroit on the road. I could have never seen this coming and this is unforgivable.

Ever notice how the Rockets seem to play badly on the road and much better at home? Yeah, this is how it is for every team, not just us. This is nothing to get upset over.

Steve, Steve, Steve. Same old stuff. Fifth year in the league and you....haven't....learned....a thing.

Quick question: Why has Starbury been traded three times? Uniquely talented but he has to be the star of the show, and if you want to beat his team, you get into his skull and make him go one-against-the-world. More easily done against teams that have elite point guards, players Stephon would like to show up.

And so it is with Steve Francis. Gotta be the show. Gotta be the highlight reel. Gotta win it all.

Anyone seen the movie "Drumline?" Francis reminds me of the lead character Devin. The very best, but never learned fundamentals, and clashes with those he's supposed to jell with. Of course, at the end of that movie, everyone learns a life lesson, etc etc. I think it's beyond Steve, and I think he's beyond coaching.

Looks like he got it last night...JVG would do well to heed HillBoy's First Law of Sewage: If you don't start no s**t, there won't be no s**t...

I was hoping after the last game he turned the corner. If he did he kept turning and is now back to his old self.

    Rocket playbook:
1st Quarter - Feed Yao a couple of times - but stop because?
2nd Quarter - Take Yao out and give everyone playing 5 shots.
3rd Quarter - Feed Yao a couple more times - now he's cold - sit him down. Finish with more "distribution" shots.
4th Quarter - More hodgepodge "plays".

Survive the first few minutes and you beat the Rockets.

JVG is wearing a pucker so big for Steve's ***. I've seen some good things JVG's done, but now I can see why he doesn't have any rings. JVG - Just let Starks find his shot...{snicker}. JVG's offense is worse than I remember.

Step into my web said the spider to the fly.

Francis is like the gifted student who coasts thru high school on ability alone and then hits the fan when he gets to the next level. Both at Maryland and with RT he was allowed to operate as he wished. He has ZERO instincts for the game and continues to make it harder than it needs to be.

Someone like Charlie Ward could, at the least, serve as a mentor. As a matter of fact, it wouldn't surprise me if Ward ends up as our starting PG down the line.

I can't agree with you more, Yao probably had his worst game as a professional. But you're right, he hasn't gotten ANY respect or calls from the refs, I don't know if its racial or what? But if you watch every game like I do, he actually HAS BEEN more AGGRESSIVE the last couple of weeks, he's almost fouled out of every damn game trying to just post up and grab rebounds/block shots? How the hell is that not being Aggressive you Freaks? You people have been spoiled by Akeem Shaq and KGarnett. I question JVG decision not to play him. Sh-t let him foul out, it won't hurt him. That's the only way these Refs will eventually give him some calls when it counts. AND HELLO have any of you noticed that our entire team free-throw count has gone down. We do not go to the line any where near as much as other teams, and we do shoot in the paint alot. Last night was evident of that. Yes we shot for sh-t, but we got fouled habitually with no calls yet again. Shaq, Duncan, KG, and any no-name big men get the calls down low that Yao is not getting. If you watch, he is turning to the basket alot more, no calls, people ripping swatting, no calls while he sets up, other big men get those set up foul calls.
Not to mention our stupid ass front-court players NEVER NEVER EVER cut while he's being doubled or tripled teamed, that's just simple basketball. And how about passing Yao the ball on the run, he always gets to the frontcourt quickly before the defense, how about passing to me now Stevie??? Ever heard of a fastbreak? So don't blame it all on Yao and Mo and Cato, those backcourt brothers need to get alot better. Opposing guards CONSISENTLY light us up i.e. stevie franchise.

I suppose you would've traded Shaq and David Robinson after they lost to Akeem in their respective appearances in the Finals and Western Conference Finals too. . ., Geez its his 2nd year people, one bad game. And yall are ready to ship him back to Shanghi??? And who exactly do you guys want in these trades? Tracy McGrady? yeah he's doing a fine job in Orlando...Shariff A.Rahim, great in Atlanta:eek: ,or how about good ole Bonzi Wells yeah he'd fit in nicely here. Oh how about date-raping Kobe after the season ends, oh no he'll probably end up in Phoenix. You honestly think you can entice Jason Kidd, you keep on wishing, if the Spurs couldn't do it, we definitely can't. And no Elton Brand isn't the savior either, you give Yao Mo Cato time to gell, all they need is guard play that is Consistent. The best backcourt passers we have on this freakin team are Mike Wilks and Jim Jackson, but who handles the ball the majority of the time I ask you? You already know the answer. . .so tell me who really needs to be traded?

"If you're missing shots, then you're missing shots. You still have to play basketball. We did a lot more than just missing shots. We didn't execute, we didn't do a good job on the boards. That was one of the bad games of the season. We didn't get it done. We didn't get anything done."

Don't get it. You are missing shots. So, you are out-rebound naturally (offensive side). It's not the board that kill us.
