Pretty sure they'll move him soon after Lebron officialy bolts, they have no reason to keep him, he's not staying there anyway and they have no reason to pay him either, they'll rebuild from the ground and trade everything they can which is basically Love, and maybe Korver.

I can't imagine what CP3 would do after every stupid mistake JR makes... Would be frustrating and hilarious all at the same time.

Can’t blame him. I hate the idea of any rings being attributed to Lebron and not Houston. Take a look at Miami. Those championships are attributed to Lebron more than Miami.

But I hate the idea of not winning a ring even more. And I am not thrilled by the prospect of running it back without more firepower

This makes more sense than the "Harden soured LeBron on coming to the Rockets by saying we didn't need another star" theory.

CP3 has known all along that LBJ had his eye on LA, and I'm sure Harden and Murray had been told that as well. It's still Maori's job to try.

CP3's got to be thinking at least a little about what if he'd stayed with the Clips. Subtract Blake and Daddy's boy, add the world's best player...

So I like the Ibaka idea, but anybody know how good his perimeter defense is? Would he be able to handle switching on to smaller guards?

Now if we can get Korver that would be awesome... That would be a successful if we came away with him without giving up gordon...

Appreciate the perspective. And to be honest deep down this is something I always felt. And I am fine with this. Harden is doubling down on himself. Belief in himself.

Rockets don't need LeBron. But they need more star players to improve the margin for error.

I'm not mad at this at all. James would be realling to do but ultimately didn't. That is respectable. I would like to get Jimmy Butler if we did have to possibility to do. It may be harder than trying to get lebron but he would fit this team so well.

Suns almost traded for him. Their owner is delusional so it's still possible. For their mid first rounder.

If we can somehow nab Kevin Love and Tyreke Evans and get rid of Ryan Anderson, Rockets would receive A+ for this off season.

Like i said next year Harden better play like Jordan or Kobe level in the playoffs because right now that MVP is meaningless without a championship. He can talk all he wants but until he gets this city a championship he will continue to be considered that guy that is great during the season and no shows during the playoffs.

Nope. Ibaka was awful, awful, awful in the playoffs. Raptors 100% regret choosing to keep Ibaka over Tucker.

Ibaka actually sucks nowadays. He was getting minutes just because of his huge salary; not because he was doing any good on the floor.

Didn't lebron say at some point in the past he wouldn't play for the clippers?

Yeah those guys have been traded now but he would have had a whole season with Daddys boy on a bad team. I think he'd still pick 65 wins and a near championship.

Korver would be good here (maybe a bit unplayable against the Warriors), i just don't think we will move salary for a bench player.

Yeah i can see that, i think he'll end up in some mid tier team like Indiana or eventually in some trash tier team like Phoenix, i don't see a contender trade for him, maybe Toronto...if you consider them a contender lol.
