Civial war I hope not. I'm more curious if someone starts harassing Maxine Waters the way she wants others harassed. Will she take it or cry foul? Would she even have the right to complain?
Republicans already started one. This country is two countries divided. No longer one nation. When Republicans see Russia as their ally and Dems and Canadians as their enemy, this country is done.
And the truth has been told he is a troll I'm just surprised that some of the other trolls haven't said anything.
I'll just leave this here... https://www.vox.com/the-big-idea/20...taurant-trump-mlk-martin-luther-king-protests Did MLK Jr want a civil war?
Waters in no way called for any violence, so that's lie number one. You mean like when Republicans went out on TV day after day accusing Planned Parenthood of murder and selling baby parts until some nutjob shot up a PP clinic? You seem to have a short memory. During the debate on the ACA, public harassment against Democrat Representatives and Senators was SOP. You're the one bringing up "physical confrontations," apparently that's where you see it going, but is not what Waters called for.
if someone wants to take you out to 5th avenue and shoot you, You have to take out that beautiful soviet union made ak 47 hope it doesn't jam and shoot first!! ( I mean who is the guy that uses violent imagery to convey personal narrative about certain groups of people?)
You can add me to the list of Democrats who think it was a stupid thing to say. The Democratic Party needs to rid itself of millstones like Pelosi and Waters. It's way past time for new, younger leadership to come to the fore, in my opinion.
For both sides I think its time for different leadership. Not necessarily younger or older but different.
As far as the GOP goes, it's way past time for some sane leadership, because they currently have none.
As someone who is not a Democrat, I think Auntie Maxine is an excellent face of the democratic party and should have a bigger platform.
He's either a troll or he's that human sized sh*t stain Steve King from Iowa. They seem to have the same exact talking points.
I don't disagree with that. My concern about the Democrats possibly taking back the house is the likelihood that Nancy Pelosi becomes Speaker again. That would guarantee things turning right back around in 2020 and could cost a chance at taking down trump, too. Obviously, the Republicans need an adult to take the party back but I don't see that happening for some time. They keep chasing the adults away.
Thomas Schaller says "we're at the beginning of a soft civil war": https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2018-06-21/democratic-rage-would-look-something-like-this What Democratic Rage Would Look Like “I think we’re at the beginning of a soft civil war.” by Francis Wilkinson 1133 June 21, 2018, 8:00 AM EDT Not there — yet. Photographer: Stock Montage/Archive Photos It seems, maybe, that President Donald Trump has abandoned his policy of separating children from their immigrant parents and warehousing them in detention facilities. But the conflict over the policy has been, among other things, starkly clarifying. The cruelty, accompanied by the lies deployed to excuse it, further inflamed political passions and sharpened the divide between Republicans, who support the president, and Democrats, who detest him. It feels as though another political Rubicon was crossed. "I think we're at the beginning of a soft civil war," political scientist Thomas Schaller said in a telephone interview. "I don't know if the country gets out of it whole." The heightened conflict of recent weeks led to more ominous rhetoric — anyone else notice the abundance of Nazi references from sane people? — and more definitive, unequivocal acts. Former Republican strategist Steve Schmidt renounced his party of 29 years this week and pledged to vote for Democrats until decency returns to the GOP. more at the link
She and Steve King, the guy that retweets white nationalists. Combine them with trump, since he sees both sides.
