No. No. Would've love to get Pat back but the fact that we drafted Melton...i just don't see a single reason to even try to trade for him. Trez (if cheap), Patterson and Lin (if cheap) should not be bad ideas to extend the bench, but i don't see any of them back for various reasons.
One of these days, not too far in the future, Dwight is going to have a "come to Jesus" moment. And by that I don't mean the actual Jesus, but the P&R Jesus. And when that happens, it'll be the right time to give him one last try. Not yet, he still thinks he's a stud, he needs perhaps 3 or 4 more rude awakenings before he gets there, but it'll be worth it when it happens. He'll have to be approximately where Derrick Rose is now - washed, forgotten, begging for one last chance at the vet minimum. He'll have to be willing to do anything to extend his playing time just a little bit more - come off the bench, set hard screens, whatever. And if he's not too stubborn, and he doesn't wait too long, I predict he'll have some sort of renaissance.
