According to this: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/story/152650p-134395c.html Frank Williams might be leaving New York in yet another trade for them... He was supposed to be their PG of the future. Would the Rockets be interested in him at all or is he not good (or is it not possible for the Rox to make a trade for him)
ehh i dont think the rockets should even try.. i dont think our pg spot is in a limbo. and making trades are just fun haha
ESPN message boards seem to be buzzing over this possible trade: Rasheed Wallace to the Knicks Keith Van Horn, Frank Williams, Othella-my-fella Harrington to the Trailblazers. It isn't confirmed by any means. I think the above current Knicks have gone mysteriously missing from the Knicks' official site. And radio stations in NY are reporting something's up. Again, nothing's confirmed until it's confirmed.
Darius Miles is HORRIBLE. The ten-pounder I left in the toilet this morning has more basketball skills than this guy. Frank Williams has talent and potential, and he plays the most difficult position in the game. I'm not sure why the Knicks would trade Williams for Miles, but they're the worst-run team in the NBA, so who knows.
Even though Portland would get some nice talent, that trade would essentially eliminate ANOTHER playoff contender in the West this year. Darius Miles may not be as good as advertised, but saying he has no talent is silly. Miles is very talented, he's a role player, but he's talented. I wouldn't mind having Miles on the Rockets.
Now that you mention it, there are only 8 names listed on New York's official roster at the moment. Something huge might be getting ready to go down.
What's even weirder, the Kings' web site lists only Mike Bibby. At least, when I looked two minutes ago, it only had that one name. Either an elaborate hoax (g.d. computer hackers!) or maybe something is going down, who knows?
scatological references best left elsewhere, please. Frank Wms can play, and appears likely to be packaged with garbage to get Knicks quality, or so hopes (expects?) IT. Ford suggested sheed, Patterson, and Anderson for Houston and KVH. Portland should consider it, IMO.
Yeah, most likely... I just hadn't bothered checking other teams' sites as well. It didn't occur to me that it could be an error, since the exact same thing happened right before the cassell-smith trade... ah well, false alarm.
