    I see no problem with the cover. it's a brilliant cover and no where does it hint that this girl was separated from her parents. If that's how you take it, then thats the narrative YOU have assigned to it. I'm sure the articles in Time for that issue discuss all the facets involving the current border issue, and NOT just the separations.

    The story accompany the cover literally said the girl was carried away screaming by Border Patrol Agents. The cover was reportage of that incident, which was an entire fabrication. The exact person on the cover was the subject of fake news.

    Correction: The original version of this story misstated what happened to the girl in the photo after she taken from the scene. The girl was not carried away screaming by U.S. Border Patrol agents; her mother picked her up and the two were taken away together.
