    ariza actually has periods of 40% and i think he's at least 37% over the last couple of years which is pretty good. his playoff performance shooting isn't close.

    melton isn't even a 30% shooter

    Obviously Morey is hoping Melton can become a bigger Patrick Beverly type player. Will have to fix that shot in RGV.

    Not overly worried about his shooting. His mechanics need a lot of work and they believe he can become a solid set three point shooter. He is a good defender, can switch well, good at rebounding the ball and strong defensive instincts on when to gamble. He will never be a scorer but could become a solid reserve if he shoots the ball better.
